Izabella Borycka

I’m the person behind the camera, the one who notices the small things, the in-between moments, and the emotions that usually happen when no one is trying too hard.
I came to Iceland in 2019 with a plan to stay “just for a bit”… and then Iceland completely stole my heart. I never left. That’s how I ended up building my life here and becoming an Iceland elopement photographer.

I’ve travelled through over 30 countries, always with a camera in my hands, learning how different places feel, not just how they look. All of that experience shapes the way I photograph today. Especially when it comes to an Icelandic weddings, where nature plays such a huge role in the story.

Photography has never felt like “just a job” to me. It’s how I connect with people and how I tell their stories. Every elopement or wedding I photograph is different, and I treat it that way — focusing on real connection, honest emotions, and moments that actually feel like you.
